Spring/Summer 26 Bohème
For Spring/Summer 2026, a.v. vattev immerses itself in the spirit of French New Wave cinema and British music subculture with Bohème, a collection that captures the essence of rebellion, elegance, and personal freedom.
The inspiration begins with Jean-Luc Godard’s 1960 film À bout de souffle (Breathless), where the main character exudes charm, confidence, and a quiet recklessness. His persona, shaped by noir icons like Humphrey Bogart, blends effortlessly with the raw style and energy of Lou Reed, Miles Davis, Keith Richards, and Paul Weller.
From this fusion, a.v. vattev builds a new archetype for menswear - refined yet rebellious, nostalgic yet forward-looking.
The collection reinterprets signature 70s elements through a contemporary lens. The skinny scarf becomes a central detail, now imagined as part mandarin collar, part flowing accent that emerges from patchwork shirts and cropped, motorcycle-style jackets. This motif also appears in tailored blazers, where the collar is extended into soft satin panels that fall behind the lapels, creating a quiet sense of movement.
Knit polos and blazers are designed to shift between classic and unconventional. The collars can be worn open or turned up, buttoned at the neck to form an elegant wrap-around silhouette that frames the face. These multifunctional shapes add depth and versatility while maintaining ease.
Familiar details from past seasons return with new energy. The collar belts on alliance jackets and raglan-sleeved coats, along with the signature Ghurka belt, continue to anchor the collection. Outerwear is looser and more relaxed this season, embracing comfort without losing structure. Trousers are crafted in lightweight cotton and offered in long, short, and mini styles, giving a casual rhythm to the summer wardrobe.
The Viper cardigan makes its return in new forms. Elongated, semi-sheer versions that move with the body, and more sculptural cropped vests that offer definition and contrast. These pieces reflect the brand’s ongoing conversation between softness and edge.
